Check out the Senior College Seminar curriculum that can assist school counselors in preparing their high school seniors for college process. Students will be able to investigate colleges, build their college list, apply for admissions, financial aid, and scholarships, and begin their transition to college with your guidance. The curriculum consists of 37 different lessons that are divided into 10, 20, and 30 minute increments. Within the curriculum are downloaded and customizable handouts, which I love!!
The Senior College Seminar was created by a group of likeminded individuals who saw a deficit in a comprehensive school counseling college curriculum. Also, these individuals, along with SCOIR and College is Yours, felt it needed to be accessible and affordable, so they made it free!! I just downloaded my curriculum and wanted to share this information with other school counselors to check out. As always, I want to share free or low cost resources with you to make your job easier.
